New Charities – Summer 2010
The Countryside Directory is now supporting three new charities: Southwest Scotland RnR and The Food Train in Dumfries and Galloway
along with Taking Flight Theatre Company in Cardiff.
Taking Flight Theatre Company is an “exciting and innovative” professional theatre company. Working to break down the barriers which can prevent participation in the arts and creating accessible theatre in exciting venues
The Food Train is a grocery shopping, befriending and household support service for older people in Dumfries & Galloway.
Southwest Scotland RnR is a charitable organisation dedicated to providing a well deserved holiday based around outdoor pursuits in the Dumfries and Galloway area for personnel returning from an operational tour and to the wounded injured in earlier tours.

Join our Team – Summer 2010
Throughout the next few months we will be looking for wonderful team players to join our team of advisors.
This could be your opportunity to really make a difference in the area you live. Our concept is local person
contacting local businesses and together helping to raise funds and create greater awareness for local charities.
This role will take up a couple of hours a day during the morning Monday- Friday. If you need to work around school
hours, maybe your semi-retired or you just like the idea of working from home please get in touch for more details.

and you have any special fundraising events happening this year please get in touch. We will help promote
your event and hopefully create greater awareness for your worthy cause. Everything we do for charities
