The Countryside Directory was created in the winter of 2007, nothing more than a vision at first, our Managing Director Vincent Neale wanted to create a directory which was affordable to every business out there, no matter how large or small, but why stop just there we wanted the directory to be very different from all the other online directories you can find on the web today. We decided that the directory could make a wonderful difference to many peoples lives within the United Kingdom & Ireland. Firstly, we agreed that a very high percentage of an advertisers cost should go to a charity local to the advertiser, then we agreed that only local people should contact local businesses to aid and create awareness for their local charities. Finally, we agreed that any profits from the directory should also go to charity.
