Our aims may be considered outrageously high by many other Online Business Directories, but that is the way we like it. There is not another directory established in the UK today that shares our passion and dedication for raising funds and awareness for Charities in the United Kingdom.

Our objective is to get the Great British public to use our directory first to find the service they need.

We do not fill our website with free business adverts; every single one of our advertisers make a contribution from the cost of their advert to a UK based charity.

Vincent Neale

Managing Director

Vincent has spent most of his working career in a sales/customer service environment. Having developed the concept of the Countryside Directory he decided to take away the greed factor most commonly associated with advertising and sales companies. He wanted to create a good, honest, ethical company which would not only charge very little for the services provided, but also every business that proudly put their name along side ours would be assured that their advert benefits them as well as help raise awareness and funds for charities throughout the UK.

Sharon Brown

Administration and Accounts Manager

Sharon has worked in accounts and administrative roles throughout her career and now heads the Countryside Directory Administration and Accounts Department. Whilst dealing with the day to day running operations of the company Sharon also works closely with the IT Department and Artwork Team to ensure quality control meets or exceeds our customer requirements.

IT Systems Manager

Daniel is currently studying for his MSci in Physics and Space Research at Birmingham University. Daniel developed this website to offer businesses and charities alike a portal to promote their services and good work right across the UK. He is constantly striving to add new features and improve the usability and functionality of the website and all background tasks.

Stella Pitman

Charity Co-ordinator

Stella’s role as Charity Co-ordinator is to liase with charity organisations throughout the UK, her primary role is to increase the awareness and promote the fundraising opportunities of the charities supported. Stella invests her time to ensure charity profiles are highlighted and kept updated with events and fundraising activities, especially for the smaller local charities that don’t get the same exposure as the larger national ones. National Fundraising Manager

Ellen currently manages and leads our team of dedicated Fundraising Advisors. With ongoing recruitment and training in place she has plans to develop her team throughout the UK during 2010. This role requires total dedication and with Ellen’s strong interpersonal and motivational skills she offers continuous on going support to all her team members.
